Air Seychelles is in search of Non-Type Rated First Officer – Jet Fleet to assist the commander with the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and transportation of crew passengers on the company international routes, including assuming command of the aircraft in the event of incapacitation of the commander.

Job Description

A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:

• Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline.
• Operate as First Officer on Company A320N aircraft on all company international routes for the safe and efficient transportation of crew and passengers.
• Conduct such duties concerning the flight in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), including procedures, limitations, and performance relating to the specific aircraft types, as allocated by the commander.
• Maintain familiarity with the relevant Seychelles and International Air Legislation and Agreed Aviation practices and procedures.
• Confirm the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check upon both the geographical position of the aircraft and its safe terrain clearance.
• Seek and receive such information and/or explanation from the commander as may be necessary to fulfil relevant functions.
• Assist the commander as required in the maintenance of a proper standard of crew discipline, conduct and personal appearance.
• Maintain the validity of personal licenses and ratings.

Hours of Work

Based on roster as per aircraft schedule.

Our Preferred Profile

Non-Type Rated Direct Entry A320N First Officer

• Shall hold a valid ICAO ATPL(A) and valid Class 1 medical certificate;
• Minimum of 4500 hours total flying time.
• 1500 hours on multi crew glass co*ckpit jet aeroplane. Glass co*ckpit: Aeroplane with an FMS coupled to the AP/FDS
• Current Class 1 Pilot’s medical.
• Shall hold a valid Licence Proficiency Check on appropriate type
• Successful completion of Seychelles Air Law.
• A minimum level 4 ICAO English language proficiency.
• Maximum age limit: 50 years on the next birthday.
• Valid Psychometric test.
• Good understanding of Aviation Rules and Regulations.
• Good communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Possesses a mature disposition – Reliable and trustworthy.
• Excellent team-working abilities.
• Ability to think quickly and made decisions in difficult situations and Remain calm under pressure.
• Customer-focused attitude.
