The Apex Cargo Bib Shorts are based off the design of our Apex Elite Bib, but with the added feature of two side and three ear pockets for extra storage. These mesh pockets provide easy access making them ideal for holding snacks, energy sources and electronics.
They feature the same proprietary padding and refined duo-panel racing Lycra, as found on the rest of the Apex Series, providing extreme comfort and a secure fit in any conditions.
The bibs feature a Pro Fit style with longer leg lengths, and are constructed from our Mnemonic Ultra Stretch Advanced Performance Fabric. This special Lycra features a four-way stretch meaning it offers increased maneuverability while keeping its elasticity for longer. The Apex is finished with the latest in high tech trims including high density silicon grippers and a dedicated sunglasses hook on its Elastane Snapback Straps.
The revolutionary Italian-made ARGON X7 MK II Pad Insert features a free floating 3mm Perforated Foam layer that adapts to your saddle position. This is augmented by a 12mm High Density Shock Absorption Foam Layer.

The Lycra found in these bibs is constructed from 65% Recycled Polyamide, much of which comes from ocean plastic waste. This garment is dyed with water based inks.
Cold hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener. Wash separately with like colours.

This range features an open cell foam with two layers: 65 density (4mm thick) and 120 density (12mm thick), providing excellent protection during cycling. The 65 density layer offers elasticity and softness, while the 120 density layer supports the cyclist during long distances, ensuring comfort and protection. The 3mm holes in the foam enhance breathability, keeping the chamois fresh and dry.

Love these bibs!
Love my Ciovita bibs….this my first pair of cargo bibs, and definitely not my last. Easy access to the pockets, great fitting legs and comfortable chamois.

Apex, it's in the name!
While getting dressed it feels too tight, a little like getting into a wetsuit. But once on the bike, the fit feels tailor-made, like a second skin. While riding, I don't feel any movement in the material, anywhere. No more chafing.
My first ride in the new bib shorts was 225km (8+ hour riding time) and it was super comfortable with no issues, I was pleasantly surprised. What you don't notice is more important than what you do notice.
Likes:
The Pad is just right, in every saddle position.
The leg grippers are slightly longer and tighter than normal, resulting in no more flapping bits in strong winds.
Side pockets are the best place to keep 1/2-eaten energy bars and empty gel packets. No more sticky fingers.
Rear pockets, for long-term storage, like keys or spares.
Dislikes:
New tan lines from the slightly longer leg grippers. ;)
Going on a ride with any of my other bib shorts. :(
