Truck is a rust free 6.2 gasser and in good working order with a clean VT title. It is originally from New Mexico and I purchased it from the original owner after they moved to Vermont last Spring. They worked as a travel nurse and would use it to tow a small camper they lived in at RV parks. Never plowed with or used as a work vehicle. They maintained it well and I have maintenance records. In my ~15k mile of ownership I haven’t had to do anything besides oil changes and the suspension work. The suspension work mentioned was a custom double leaf pack rated at 1200 lbs, Hellwig rear sway bar and Sumo Springs yellow bump stops. Tires are a set of Arctic Claw 10 ply winter tires with about 20k miles on them and lots of tread left. The camper is mounted with Torklift frame mounts, Torklift Derringer quick connects and Happijac turnbuckles. Truck has a class 5 rear hitch and an added plug in the bed. ***One disclaimer: the truck will come without the tailgate and without the rear bench seat which we removed for extra storage. We will be back in VT in June and could ship them to you at your expense but likely cheaper to search a junkyard.
Camper is in great shape for the year. Great layout for a shortbed truck. Desirable 4 season model great for boondocking with one piece aluminum roof, thicker insulation, heated water tanks, wet bath, dual propane tanks, slide out and a generator. We removed the dinette and built a couch with a lagun swivel table instead. This makes the layout much more spacious and gives you a comfortable place to sit. It also makes the camper much more functional with the slide in. The couch is stained but could be cleaned or choose your own fabric to wrap and staple on which is what we did. We did some other simple renovations like removing the bad corduroy window blinds and did simple black out curtains on string. These function well but aren’t the prettiest. We tore out some of the stained old carpet but then never got around to painting the raw wood and vinyl we exposed. Small cosmetic things like that but that’s where you come in with your own decorative touch! The generator only has 62 hours because the previous owners were campground/plug in folks. It had literally 6 hours when we purchased it and we spent $1000 having it serviced and tinkered with to get it running. Starts a little rough but never hasn’t started and has been keeping our batteries topped off since January without problem as we almost strictly boondocked on our trip. It can run everything in the camper at the same time including the AC and a microwave although we removed our microwave for more storage but the space and the plug are still there. Normal cosmetic wear and tear inside and out but I would say in much better shape than most campers of this age. The rear skirts behind the rear wheels had some water damage which the previous owner repaired well with new wood and diamond plate backing but it’s a bit ugly (see pictures). I redid all the roof seals and nearly all other seals with high quality rv specific materials although my caulk lines aren’t the cleanest.
Cruises 70 on the highway no problem and passes semi trucks up the steep passes. Throw it in tow/haul and you’ve got the engine to help you brake down the other side. Overall a great rig which has served us amazingly and we will be sad to see it go! From ski resorts, beach camping, deserts to mountain passes this rig will get you there and provide a comfortable home on wheels for all your adventures. Priced to sell and with the tailgate and rear seat in mind. Call, text or email. 8one2 3two5 4five6five
